mott.jpgWelcome to the International University of Nursing (IUON), St. Kitts Campus. I am pleased that you are visiting our website and want to learn more about IUON and our commitment to excellence in nursing education. Within this website you will be able to search out and learn more about our academic programs, students, faculty, staff and research and scholarly activities, all of which we are very proud.

We offer a traditional BSN program for students seeking either direct entry or advanced standing opportunities.  In addition, we also offer an Accelerated BSN program which can be completed in approximately 15 months.  Students begin their academic program at our state of the art campus located on the exotic Caribbean Island of St. Kitts.  The final year is completed at our affiliated nursing schools either in the United States or Canada. Graduates are eligible for licensure in the United States and Canada.  Our current pass rate on the NCLEX is over 90% surpassing the national average in the United States.

Students at IUON engage in experiential learning by providing them with opportunities to apply theoretical concepts learned in the classroom to "real life" situations in the workplace. If you decide to join our school of nursing you will enjoy and benefit from a stimulating, challenging, and culturally diverse academic experience. Faculty are high qualified and credentialed experts within their disciplines,  focus on excellence in teaching, and engaged in a variety of scholarly activities. This allows students to be active in research and other scholarly activities to further enhance their educational experience.

We urge you to explore our website to learn more about the many benefits of attending IUON. We welcome your interest and hope you will decide to join IUON for a very rich and rewarding learning journey to becoming a Registered Nurse.

Sincerely,

Maxine C. Mott, PhD, RN
Interim Dean
