IUON is chartered by the Federation of St. Christopher and Nevis to offer the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree. In August 2010, IUON received full accreditation from the Ministry of Education, St. Christopher and Nevis.
The U.S. nursing schools affiliated with IUON for the purpose of offering the last year of the BSN program are all fully accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), the appropriate institutional accrediting bodies, and/or applicable state boards of nursing.
All Canadian partner schools are approved by their respective provincial College of Registered Nurses such as the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) and accredited by the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN).
Students that have successfully completed our BSN program receive a degree from both IUON and our U.S./Canadian partner school. As a graduate of an accredited U.S. or Canadian nursing school, students qualify for licensure in the United States. Pass rate on the NCLEX currently exceeds 90%.
