Morehead State University

After completing the required semesters in St.Kitts, students transition to the United States or Canada to complete their theory and clinical training at one of IUON's affiliated teaching institutions.

At these schools, students continue their final year of nursing education, building on the information and skills gained during their initial semesters at the IUON campus on St. Kitts.  This final year also provides advanced clinical aspects of nursing, as practiced in the U.S. or Canada today.

IUON and each Partner School has policies for determining whether a student is making Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) in his or her educational program.  While attending the partner school, students are required to meet the satisfactory academic progress requirements of both degree granting institutions.  IUON evaluates every student's academic progress at the end of each semester.  SAP policies are consistently applied to all students regardless of their citizenship or type of financial aid received.

U.S. Federal Student Aid is administered by IUON whether the student is in St. Kitts or at the partner school.  Students who have accepted Federal Direct Loan funds at any point in the program must attend a partner school located in the United States.
